AC Milan have announced a commitment with the Japanese company Sanrio, that are famously behind the Hello Pussy brand.
The deal will see various Whats up Kitty characters in the Rossoneri color as the club tries to bring in good deal more female supporters from across the globe.
"I am very satisfied with this cooperation. The idea to associate a female cardio to a top level male outdoor activity came a while ago with AC Hong kong, " said Paolo Casarini, Licensing Representative for Sanrio GmbH on the authorised AC Milan website.
"Today, and with a whole lot female fans in the sport, the recent collection has a natural target. A real sports clothing line and fashion accessories to all female fans will be released from next September. "

"For this reason we have decided to join forces with a brand like Whats up Kitty, a prestigious and needed character, and what is more highly favorite by young people all over the world. The cooperation with the Sanrio Team has been painful and has brought excellent results.

We will certain that this character will be popular with the Milan fans and out of this we will see several other interesting initiatives. "
