(Paris Fashion Week) Kenzo case: bring on the layers
This season's mantra is: pile it all on the subject of. We have seen it notably worries Lanvin, Dries Van Noten _ and now at Kenzo cover iPhone 5's draped, extensive and colorful fashion spectacle.
It can take a lot to drag fashionistas out at its onset a Sunday morning to a store on the outskirts of the city. But also Kenzo rewarded those who did _ feeding them tasty delights _ and treating them to an incredibly powerful presentation, in which gargantuan rectangular around the walls moved behind models while in the warehouse venue.
The collection too nonstop this energy in its vivid information of kinetic graphic lines and so flashes of contrasting, colored empreinte.
But fall-winter was all about some of the layering. Geometric lines featured on the subject of layered A-line column dresses, garnished off with funky asymmetrical poncho-hoods.
One billowing printed look highlighted a play on jarring prints _ the skirt looking Eastern, some of the leopard print top, Western.
Kenzo is all about the cultural fusion. Currently the dark looks featured a nice play the game of camouflage print on a poncho and assorted jungle pants: inside the looked closely you realized some of the pattern was, in fact , of ach unmilitaristic flowers. It was tongue inside cheek, and is bound to be a make. —AP
